Ogden Transfer Station - Under New Ownership

Ogden Transfer Station - Under New Ownership

The Ogden Transfer Station (previously Recycled Earth) was recently purchased by Robinson Waste Services, a local waste hauler for over 35 years. Along with this acquisition, there are a lot of exciting developments surrounding the OTS in the coming months.

Background of Robinson Waste Services:

Robinson Waste Services is a locally owned, independent waste hauler serving Northern Utah for over 35 years. The company founder, Steve Robinson, learned the value of hard work early from his father and spent a lot of time learning the waste collection business from him. From dumping garbage cans as a young boy to running the business alongside his father, Steve grew to know the intricacies of running a successful business. After his father sold his business, Steve worked for another waste collection business as a manager for a few years before starting his own business in 1989. Steve started his business with only one truck and steadily grew to a full scale residential and commercial waste collection operation. Today, Robinson Waste services 6 counties and multiple cities with comprehensive residential, commercial, industrial and construction waste and recycling services.

What’s Coming for Ogden Transfer Station?

Currently, OTS is accepting C&D (construction and demolition) materials as well as recyclables at our MRF (material recovery facility). In addition to these services, Robinson Waste is constructing a state of the art transfer facility for municipal waste. This facility will be completed in 2025. We are very excited about this facility and believe that it will help your experience at the Ogden Transfer Station be quick, seamless, and safe. Our background as haulers has helped us design this facility with drivers/haulers in mind.
